What a night! The Royal Oak was alive with laughter, cheers, and the satisfying clatter of coins, skittles and dominoes for our Pub Games Pentathlon, all in aid of Drimpton Village Hall.

Drimpton Book Fair – message from Joyce Bonney Thank you to all the people who donated books to the fair that was held in the Village Hall on Sunday 19th October and particular thanks to the group of people who helped unpack, arrange, sort and repack the huge number of books that we had. The horrible weather seemed to gang up against us, and it continued to pour with rain the whole afternoon and therefore seemed to discourage the majority of the village to step outside. Howev

our very first Craft morning in aid of the Garden Club . We welcomed 11 children from 1-7 years on Saturday. Fun was had by all including the adults. There was crown making , pebble painting , food animals , potato printing , lego models , cupcake decorating , Egg box gardens and Collaging . Everyone had ago of each station and we had lots of lovely entries for the children’s section at the garden show on the 9th August .
