Village Lunches
Viv and Rosemary invite you along to the village lunch.This is at 12.30pm at the Village Hall. There will be the usual delicious choice of handmade soups and mouth watering
desserts with tea/coffee and mints all for £6pp.

Valentine’s Afternoon Tea
Friday 13th February.
at the Village Hall
from 1.30 - 4.00pm.
Bookings are essential, together with the time you would like to eat.
Come for your lunch or tea.
This will include sandwiches and savouries together with scone jam and cream with cakes and fancies.
All for £10pp.
If you would like to bring a bottle, we can provide glasses. Tea and coffee is included. Vegetarian
and gluten free catered for.
There will also be a raffle in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Wear something red if you wish!

A very Special Lunch
“After 25 years of organising the village lunches, the last almost 10 years with the help of
Rosemary, together with the lovely ladies who have given their time so readily, I have decided to
“hang up my apron” after the Christmas Lunch on Friday12th December. I would like to thank all
the wonderful people who have attended the lunches, some from almost the beginning for their
loyalty.
Should there be anyone who would like to take over from Rosemary and me we would be very
willing to help in any way.
If you would like to be included in the Christmas Lunch, could you kindly let me know on 868005,
the price is £12 and we would be very pleased to see you. The monies raised will be donated as in
other years, to Crisis at Christmas.
We are not going away altogether and will be arranging a few afternoon teas, the first of which will
be on 13th February, (for Valentines) so keep this date free and we will give more details in the
