Country and Western comes to Drimpton

A big thank you to Allan and Paula Hale who brought a taste of America to Drimpton - Two step country dancing has long been a passion of theirs and they were keen to introduce it to a wider audience.

There was a good turnout from the village as well as from wider afield. There were  a few ten gallon hats and cowboy boots on show although thankfully they left their lassos at home! It was a great evening of dancing with the seasoned two steppers showing us how it was done to the accompaniment of the very talented Henry Birkett.

The bar was busy throughout the evening ( thank you to Joe and Denise) and chilli followed by key lime pie ( thank you to Kate and Francesca ) was on offer to keep everyone’s strength up!!

All in all a very successful evening
