Celebrating Talent, Community Spirit, and Raising £371.50 for Young Lives vs Cancer!
It was grand to have a packed house for our annual Christmas Show at the Hall. An audience of villagers of all ages enjoyed and supported the non-stop series of ‘turns’ presented by our friends, families and neighbours. Once again we were delighted by the range of talent; many performers appearing on our stage for their very first time. They all did themselves proud. Bravo! And of course there was the extra special raffle with SO MANY PRIZES that it took a while to draw all the tickets; but with the help of a team of young children so many villagers ended up being winners. It was an evening of great FUN that would not happen without the effort and participation of so many villagers.
We thank you ALL.
It was also our fundraiser for Young Lives vs Cancer (formerly known as CLIC Sargent). As a result Drimpton is able to give the truly amazing amount of £371.50 this year. This will mean that our total over the many years we have been fundraising to now a brilliant £6998.58!!!! Next year we will definitely pass the £7000.00 mark! Andrew
